BCLSD Special Newsletter
newsletter
In a few short weeks, our community will have the opportunity to make an important decision about the future of our school district. As you may know, our elementary schools have been beyond their student capacity for several years now. To compensate for this, we have been using 16 trailer classrooms to educate entire grade levels of students – 2nd grade - and many programs such as art, music, technology, and reading programs for all K-4 students. We have been unable to maximize students’ safety and unable to provide adequate space and the learning environment students need to fully reach their potential in the 21st century. Using trailers as a long-term solution to address the needs is not a sustainable facilities plan.

We need the support of our community to address these issues and we respectfully ask that you take a few minutes to review the special report newsletter outlining important information about Issue #3 and our facilities plan. We have worked hard to provide frequent communication so that our community feels informed about the success and needs of our students.

We appreciate the support of our community and we humbly ask every community member and parent to vote on or by May 8th.
